The latter source puts his wife as Esther Mae Kresge - right enough - but her birth date as 31 Mar 1927. This makes her more likely to have married Buck's father. The discrepancy derives from Buck's grave marker, with his birth and death dates, and that of Esther's birth. An alternative comes from the Schupp genealogy's indication that her marriage to Bert (Buck) Temple was a second marriage for her. While that doesn't erase the 20+ year difference, it may mean that she actually was the second wife of Buck's father. Of course, it could simply meant that Bert married a woman considerably his senior.
