Barabara Winona Temple, who married Marcellus Crenner, was the daughter of Myra H. Temple, according to SSACI and she was b 25 Nov 1927 on Sanford, ME. There agreement falls apart, as some secondary sources say that Myra H. was the daughter of unknown parents, and was a Temple because she married Ernest Fairwell Temple. Ernest Fairwell and Myra Temple did indeed have a daughter named Barbara b 1927 enumerated with them in Limerick, ME in the 1930 census. The problem with the SSACI source is that no father of any surname is listed. Less well documented is a secondary source of unknown reliability that Barbara Winona was the issue of a John Burnham and Myra H (or M). Temple, the latter the daughter of Pearl and Edith (Swineston) Temple. The problem comes down to solving which Myra H. Temple was the mother of Barbara Winona Temple - the one whose maiden name was Temple, or the one who had a daughter surnamed Temple but fathered by a Burnham.
