Her parents were members of the first party of settlers in the area around Leetonia, OH. Her obituary said she was survived by two sons and two daughters, but since they were unnamed, it is hard to tell who she was. She appears to be Susanna Wisman, second wife of Joseph Taylor Temple who, in the children with his first wife, seems to have had two sons and two daughters (at least) who survived Susan's death date in 1905. Although no other Susans or any variation are known in the area around Leetonia or Salem in Columbiana County, the problem of identifying her as Susan Wisman is that Susan Wisman's birth was given in 1817.
