Victory, a block from their home.<br>"William Lynch, 57, of Cleveland, engineer of the train, said he was traveling about 65 miles per hour when the accident happened.<br>"The double tragedy happened at the High Street crossing in Mt. Victory. It is a crossing which has no watchman and bears a local reputation as a 'bad' crossing. It is a block west of the main crossing of the town where Route 31 crosses the railroad.<br>"Ray Bodine, watchman at the next crossing, a block away, an eyewitness to the crash, said the car had just pulled onto the crossing when the train hit it squarely in the middle. Friends reported they were believed heading toward their nearby home when the accident happened.<br>"The car was demolished and both bodies badly mangled.<br>"The car was dragged 1,000 feet along the railroad tracks. The motor was thrown about 400 feet from the body of the car, landing on the other side of the tracks.<br>"The boy's body was dragged 400 feet from the scene of the accident.
