Lucretia's father was one of two brothers who settled in Boston and built several blocks of that city.  This is some kind of confusion, it seems, because the Winchester birth records clearly indicate that the wife of Stephen of Winchester, and the mother to the children shown here, was named Sarah.  Research by Ralph L. Temple has not turned up solid dates for Sarah, but her existence cannot be doubted.  I show her as Sarah because of the clerk's records of births in Winchester, and would really like to figure out the confusion between Sarah and Lucretia Butler.  It also seems possible, given the lack of known Sarah Temples, that she was the one in Upton marriage records who married David Forbush in 1785.<p>Spouse: <a href="b3040.htm#P454" class="lnk">Stephen TEMPLE-454</a>.
