By 1910, she had had 14 children, 7 of whom survived.<p>Some sources give her surname as Morganroth or Morganritzl, but not her marriage records, which give her maiden name as Rethz. An example is her son John Adam's marriage to Mary Pfaff, in which she was a Morganroth, which holds for others of her children. Find-A-Grave gave the spelling as Morgenroth.<p>If she was a second wife, then perhaps John's first wife was a Rethz.
