The major break in the reported age was before 1830. This would mean she was probably married to Luke's son who was born just before or after Phillip. I think this is a difficult fit, only because the son really should have been born in the 1790s at the latest for the birth dates in the census to work out.<p>Another possibility for his identity is that he was Lewis Temple, and that would give Mary a surname of Fields. But the difficulty here is that Lewis disappears from the census roles after 1800, i think, but Mary continued to have children up to nearly the 1830 census.<p>The third possibility is that she actually was the wife of Luke, and the children enumerated with her were part of their family, possibly including some double counts of the same children.</p><p>Spouse: <a href="b2095.htm#P133130" class="lnk">TEMPLE-133130</a>.
