As we prepare for the rapidly approaching Holy Week in the Christian Church, it is time to pause and contemplate not only the significance of the sacrifice that occurred for you and me, but what is our true purpose in life.

Now what I am about to share with you is a deviation from that which I have presented in recent updates. Let there be no mistaken thought in your mind, as I shall continue to present only the true and veritable facts in the specific purposes for which this web site was created in subsequent updates. As is so often quoted in scripture, "The TRUTH shall rein forever and ever - AMEN!"

The Good Lord sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to save sinners, of which we all must plead guilty. Jesus Christ was crucified in order that we (you and I) might have the opportunity to Glorify Christ in our daily lives assuring we will see Him and the Holy Father in eternity.

Many have said to me in recent times, "I'll make it to Heaven and I'll see God, and He will forgive me for my sins and transgressions!" My response in all instances has been - "What makes you so sure?" Their responses, "I'm a good person. I go to Church every Sunday. And, compared to most, I'm O.K."

To this very day, I carry a heavy heart (not for me), but for those who embraced evil for their own personal gain and ambition - be it ego, be it money, be it power, be it pride, or be it to cover up their ineptitude! Whatever the motive, "you lose"!

Foolishly, many think they can buy their way into Heaven. Others think there is plenty of time to come around and the Good Lord will forgive them for their transgressions. "Wrong again!"

With Holy Week facing us square in the face, I hope you open your eyes long enough to see, learn, and know that we are here on this earth today and now for one purpose and one purpose only - and that is to "Glorify Christ" - for He and He alone is our Savior.

If you think for a moment - "Wow, Haddad has gone over the edge!", I suggest to you that you were (and are) so blinded by the evil that has spurred from you lips and actions that your salvation may well be in jeopardy.

I now ask that if the image you see in the mirror is as shocking as what the Good Lord sees in you, that you continue on reading what I shall share with you now.

The opening line in this update is -

God's Way of "Editing" Our Lives

As Christians, we know that one day we will stand before Christ to give an accounting of our lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could "edit" certain things out of them? There are things which we have done that don't quite fit in with the Christian way of life we profess to follow. We have all done things of which we are ashamed - things we would love to edit and rewrite. I recall in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony speaks these chilling words: "The Evil that Men do lives on, while the Good is often interred with their Bones."

I would suggest to you, this appears to be how life unfolds for all of us. One moment of weakness can change a life from a masterpiece into a mess! That is the way it is - or is it? Indeed, scripture teaches us that this is NOT the way it is - or it doesn't have to be. We Can edit out the bad scenes of our life through - "repentance"! The crucifixion of Christ offers us the opportunity to cast aside that which has brought us down in the past. He encourages us to confess our sins, express our sorrow for them and seek forgiveness. It is our challenge in life to do so. Like the father in the parable of the Prodigal Son, "He is always willing to take us back" - but not before we "repent" and "make right that which we have done wrong".

I pray your eyes are open to the sacrifice Jesus made for you (and me), and that you "Glory Him with the Truth" - the Truth He and His Father already know and have seen - and wait impatiently for you to profess and confess.

You know from the aforementioned message where you stand before Christ and the Holy Father. For many of you, I suggest it is time for "a Change of Attitude & Behavior". "It is time to move from Darkness to the Light."

Are you up to the challenge?

Blessing in this precious Easter Season of your life.

Philip G. Haddad, Jr.
