First of all, I wish to thank all of you for your e-mails and calls asking why there have been no updates since December 11, 2008.

The reason for the delay in providing updates is my respect for the meaning and purpose of Christmas - the birth of Jesus Christ. All too often, we tend to forget the true meaning of Christmas. I have made reference in the past and quite frankly I am bothered to this very day in the fact that Katherine Mangsen, mother of five children and wife of Kurt Mangsen (principal owner of Nordgren Memorial Chapel in Worcester) chose to file a false and fraudulent complaint against me on December 24, 2003 - Christmas Eve. The presence of Satan in the lives of those so weakened and vulnerable to evil is clearly visible no matter what day of the year it happens to be.

As you know by just "Googling" - Justice At What Price, there is significant interest in the issues you have been reading on this site. Thousands upon thousands of individuals go to this web site weekly seeking additional information and clarity to what has been the failure of the Administrative Process of government at the State level and the failure of the Superior Court System to verify the accuracy of statements made and conclusions drawn. What many fail to realize is the internet is forever, and it is impossible to hide as has been the process in the past. Accountability escapes no one.

Oh, yes, one may escape fair and impartial judgment from corrupt adjudicators from time to time, but one never escapes the final judgment before the Good Lord. "Live in darkness today, and you are assured darkness in eternity".

I have had and continue to have a special relationship with families I have served for the past 40 years; for there is no more sacred responsibility than to justly and with sincere compassion assist a family in saying "good-bye" to a departed loved one. There is no second chance in making it right. It must be "right" the first and only time.

I was recently asked by family members to be present at the time they made funeral arrangements for their departed mother (my aunt). My family had discussed their wishes to some degree with me prior to going to the funeral home, and asked that I speak up in the event they felt timid or were hesitant to express what they indicated to me was important to them. The true fact was they wanted me to keep them focused, for they have a tendency to kind of be all over the place.

It is not my intent to disclose the name of the funeral home or the funeral director making the arrangements. Suffice it to say, what I am about to describe are events and statements made in my presence and well documented by all in attendance. The funeral director was very professional (at least in the beginning) in explaining the process to be followed, and he did an excellent job eliciting basic information from the family - again a family that has a tendency to stray from the subject at the moment.

When it came to the subject of the publication of the obituary in the paper, I indicated it was the request of the family that the name of the funeral home not be capitalized and/or in bold lettering; as the family believed the obituary was a tribute to their mom and not a means of advertisement for the funeral home. The funeral director indicated it was the policy of the funeral home to have their name capitalized. I restated the family wished to have the name of the funeral home in normal print and not capitalized.

The once professional funeral director, now red faced and obviously upset, stated to the family (and I quote), "Why did you come here anyway?" Shocked by the statement of the funeral director, I was proud of the composure of my family as they said - not a word. I restated the request of the family and the funeral director finally agreed to their request.

Disgusted with the funeral director at this point, and after the family had viewed caskets in the funeral homes selection room and decided on the casket they wished to have for their mother, I stated I would make arrangements for the casket to be delivered to the funeral home the very next morning.

At the conclusion of the arrangements and after the funeral director had totaled the bill, the funeral director asked, "How do you propose to pay for the funeral - check or credit card?" The family stated - "By check, but we need to transfer funds from another account". I was shocked to hear the funeral director state, "Bring the check with you tomorrow prior to the visiting hours (wake)".

The family has lived across from the funeral home (less than a quarter of a mile away) for more than 50 years, and owe no one a single dime; and yet are pressed by the funeral home (funeral director) for payment prior to the visiting hours. And one wonders why families are opting for minimum services and why the funeral industry is imploding as it is?

For those of us in the final quarter of our earthly lives, we remember the days when the funeral home and the funeral director were professional, courteous, sincere and compassionate; and almost like a family member. Those were the days when "funeral service" was the accurate depiction of what a family could expect from the funeral home and funeral director.

What my family experienced and I witnessed was a funeral director (funeral home) that was more focused with having their name being prominently displayed in the obituary on the obituary page of the newspaper and for their immediate financial well-being; while secondarily addressing the wants and needs of the family as they plan their "good-byes" to their departed loved one.

Out of fairness to the funeral home (funeral director), the funeral went well and the end product (service) was satisfactory. It could have been a totally positive experience at a very difficult time had the family been the total focus of the funeral directors attention; and not print the funeral homes name as big as that of the name of the deceased and "pay me before the funeral has taken place".

In concluding my accurate and detailed account of the experience my family had just a few weeks ago (which I personally witnessed), I leave you (the funeral director and the funeral home) and you (the reader of this web site) with the following - "A family does not get a second chance to say "good-bye" to a loved one". In the event you (the consumer) feel the need to spend $7,000, $10,000, or $12,000 in saying good-bye to your departed loved one for just 3 days, you have every right to expect and demand your wishes are adhered to to the very smallest detail. In the event you (the consumer) opt to spend significantly less (as is your choice), you still have the right to expect and demand your wishes are adhered to to the very smallest detail.

The subject of this update is - " So Help Me GOD!" When one is placed under oath, they attest to the following,

"I swear to tell the Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth - so Help Me God!"

While recently in San Diego and Los Angeles, I had the occasion to meet with several groups of individuals that have followed this web site for a number of years - soon after the creation of it - www.justiceatwhatprice.com. I had forwarded over time transcripts of the seven (7) days of testimony and numerous supporting documents requested and our discussions and conclusions drawn will be discussed in detail in subsequent updates.

I was reminded that each of us (each and every one of us) will carry the books of our life with us to the final judgment before the Good Lord. We will not be able to redact (black out) any statements we have made or actions taken - regardless of whatever wonderful things we may do with our lives. Even if we divest our wealth to charity as we confront our mortality in anticipation of our earthly passing, there is no redacting or rationalizing ones evil statements or actions.

The owner of the funeral home referenced above became a primary witness against me in what is purported to be an investigation laced with statements that have not and can not be verified. The owner of the funeral home referenced above was not called as a witness against me by the Division of Professional Licensure for fear his testimony would be invalidated. The owner of the funeral home referenced above was subpoenaed as a "hostile witness" by me in the presentation of my defense - on no less than three (3) instances - as the Administrative Hearing Officer (Anne Colleton) had vacated one of the subpoenas issued to the funeral director, even though attorneys for the funeral director only requested a deferment while the funeral director was on holiday. The owner of the funeral home listed above has been the primary beneficiary of funeral business and families I had served over the years as a result of his less than accurate statements to the Division of Professional Licensure investigator (John Bresnahan) and his testimony under oath ".So Help Me GOD!"

As Jesus states in the Bible, "We have a moral consciousness - we can discern right from wrong, which makes us accountable to GOD!"

To you who have intentionally turned your back to GOD in the matters discussed in this Web site, the Bible says you will not have a moments peace in the darkness you have chosen during your remaining earthly existence and your eternity with GOD is in serious jeopardy.

To those of you "In Truth" and "In Light", I wish you a very happy, healthy, and spiritually rewarding New Year.

Philip G. Haddad, Jr.
