A few days ago, we celebrated Memorial Day "Respectfully Remembering" the value we place on "Freedom" by recognizing those whose sacrifices embody what it means to truly be free. I for one, and I hope and pray you do as well, value the freedoms we enjoy in America situated firmly upon the foundation of the Constitution of the United States.

As a true believer, (always have been), I believe we are where the Good Lord wants us to be at any point in our earthly journey. How we react from this point going forward is of our own will with the Good Lord being the ultimate judge of our actions. We are continuously challenged and compromised if we allow ourselves to be influenced (and tempted) by Satan and his disciples. If we have Christ in our hearts and His Seed within us, the decision(s) we choose will be pleasing to God and come easy to us. To the contrary, if we are weak, easily influenced, and tempted by darkness in our thoughts and deeds, we will have turned our backs on Christ and joined forces with Satan and become soldiers in his army of deceivers.

I ask you, "To whom do you pledge your allegiance"?

Let's address the issue of "communication and truth" as God intended it to be.

Communicating honestly, openly, and from the heart is easy and takes little or no effort.

Utilizing one's biases and prejudices to seek an alternate course of communication compromising truth takes precious energy away from goodness and righteousness and compromises the basic tenants of truthfulness before God.

By succumbing to evil, as noted immediately above, one is left with four (4) basic characteristics emblematic of a "non-believer" in Christ and the Word of God.

Loss of Innocence

Shame

Hiding from God every minute of everyday of the rest of one's life

Blame

I so wish to elaborate more and will at the appropriate time as I identify in specific detail actions, communications, and deliberate mistruths that have permeated the lives of many and through their own actions have compromised not only their path to eternity with Christ in God's Heavenly Kingdom; but also plagued the remainder of their earth journey having embraced Satan as they turned their backs on Christ.

Through the loss of innocence and the shame that follows, non-believers hide from Christ and the Good Lord every day of their lives rationalizing their words and actions and turning to others to blame for their misdeeds. How truly sad are they!

I keep asking myself, "What is it going to take for those in darkness to see the evil of their ways"? "Is it possible and is their time for "truth" and "light" to shine like the sun in their lives?" I certainly am not in a position to answer these questions for others, other than to say, "I believe Christ and the Good Lord sees all, knows all, and is willing to listen to he/she who repents their mistruths and ill actions and puts on Christ once and for all."

I also believe that if we are seeking eternity in God's Heavenly Kingdom, for many alluded to in past updates,

"You can't get There from here!" without aggressive action to commit to repentance by divesting yourself of darkness and aggressively seeking "Light with Christ" as your witness to the truth of your ways.

Yes, I believe the Good Lord has me where He wants me at this juncture in my life - testing my fortitude, while at the same time guiding me to defend "truth & justice" so that others are not compromised unjustly be evil doers and disciples of Satan.

I wish you peace and serenity in your earthly journey.

Philip G. Haddad, Jr.
