On Friday evenings and Sunday mornings I have the wonderful opportunity to meet, greet, and share with many I have found to be the "Children of God". These folks are fully aware of the "possibilities" and yet the "challenges" we face in our daily journey to do what is honorable and righteous in the name of God.

Aware to only a limited extent of the persecution I have experienced at the hands of others, the same question rises. Just this past weekend during a lull in a neighborhood yard sale (Saturday, May 3rd), my next door neighbor asked me the exact same question - "Phil, aren't you angry, for the injustice you have endured for the past 4 years? I would have had a nervous breakdown or at least be sick had it happened to me!"

My response, "I have no time to be angry!" "But I must admit for the past 4 + years I have not slept more than 3-4 hours at a time, so disappointed that so many individuals have turned their backs on Christ and chosen to follow the lead of Satan in their earthly journey".

Since that time, I have thought long and hard about each of those I have found in the past 4 + years that have consciously (and in some instances, I believe, unconsciously) compromised their earthly existence and spiritual journey leaving Christ and the sacrifice He made for us and our sins "a thing of the past" with No relevance to them in today's world. How very sad! What I find equally disturbing is how so few can infect so many innocent individuals to the point that they feel so boxed in and so compromised that they too find themselves in darkness when they were accustomed to light.

Several years ago in one of the earlier updates on this web site, I spoke to the issue of "Light" and its importance in finding and expressing what we all know to be the truth. (In reference to the "we", I refer to you; me; God, the Father; and Jesus Christ, the Son). If you believe in God then you must believe He Knows and Sees our every action and He Hears our every word. If you do not believe this to be true, you are then in "darkness" and unworthy of eternal life in His Heavenly Kingdom. Quite frankly, it is that simple.

I am a believer that there are judgment days during our earthly journey, to a much lesser extent, but nevertheless meaningful judgments here on earth that pale in comparison to that judgment day when Christ serves as our witness before the Heavenly Father. Soon I will be a participant in this judgment process here on earth with Christ as my counsel and the Good Lord as the Judge. Oh yes, there will be an earthly person of character and honor to sift through the "maze" and to determine the veracity of a process that was created to guarantee fairness and impartiality without any semblance of bias and prejudice as afforded every individual by the Constitution of this the United States of America.

At no point during this process have I looked anywhere other than up to the Good Lord. Times have certainly been difficult from a personal, emotional, and financial perspective for me and my family during this journey; but my (our) faith has sustained me (us) through it all - always keeping in mind -

"When you're down to nothing, God's up to something!"

"Worry" looks around!

"Sorry" looks down!

"Faith" looks up!

The subject line of the message above is -

Get Comfortable being "Uncomfortable"!

This phrase (statement) may be interpreted in either of two (2) ways. To those of you who have not answered the door when Jesus knocked, I suspect your earthly existence will be one of discontent and a continuous "uncomfortable" feeling of loneliness with the absence of Christ in your life.

To those of you who truly realize that all our blessings, all that we have achieved, and all that we will accumulated on our earthly journey is from God and without the sacrifice of His Son (Jesus Christ) we would not be where we are today, I suggest you too "Get Comfortable being Uncomfortable" for you are truly vulnerable to the daily temptations of Satan and his disciples each and every day of your earthly journey.

As a brilliant pastor recently said to me and others in our presence, "We're in this together!" Wow! How right he is! We are in this earthly journey together.

Which path have you chosen?????

Till next time. God's Speed!
