    <p>I recently came across correspondence initiated by Ms. _____ stating &#8220;the 
      SAGA continues&#8230;.&#8221;. My response to Ms. _____ via this web site 
      and will be when I have my first opportunity to meet Ms. _____ face-to-face, 
      is a more accurate statement would be - </p>
    <h3 class="title" align="center">&#8220;The Conspiracy, Corruption, &amp; 
      Cover Up continues...&#8221;</h3>
    <p>As you will note, the name of the woman referenced above is intentionally 
      left blank at this point, but shall be presented in a future update. Suffice 
      it to say, she is deeply embroiled in this &#8220;witch hunt&#8221; and 
      attempt at &#8220;character assassination&#8221;.</p>
    <p>On Saturday evening, May 5, 2007 I attended the 30th anniversary surprise 
      party for Ed &amp; Edna Hyder &#8211; the party held at St. George Orthodox 
      Cathedral in Worcester. As you may or may not know, I am no longer a member 
      (parishioner) at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, although I was born into 
      the Church and had been a member of the Cathedral for 61 + years. The exact 
      and detailed reasons for my resignation from St. George Orthodox Cathedral 
      to be a chapter in the non fiction book I am in the process of writing &#8211; 
      more later in this update.</p>
    <p>While at the anniversary party, I was confronted by dozens of parishioners 
      who were just waiting for the opportunity to inquire as to the status of 
      the complaints filed by Katherine Mangsen on behalf of Nordgren Memorial 
      Chapel dating back more than 3+ years &#8211; many of the inquiries from 
      families that have retained their pre-need funeral arrangements made with 
      me prior to my termination by Kurt Mangsen on November 19, 2003. Each of 
      the families referenced had indicated to me that they wished to transfer 
      their pre-need funeral arrangements to another funeral home once they had 
      learned I was no longer employed at Nordgren&#8217;s. In each case, I suggested 
      they leave their pre-need arrangements at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, thereby 
      making no hasty decisions; and at the time of the passing of their loved 
      one they could then make whatever decision they wished as to the funeral 
      home of choice. With few exceptions, each of the 30+ families with whom 
      I had made arrangements have complied with my advice and to this very day 
      (3+ years later), have retained their pre-arranged and pre-funded funeral 
      arrangements at Nordgren Memorial Chapel.</p>
    <p>The conversations between 7:30 &#8211; 11:30PM on Saturday evening fell 
      into two (2) distinct categories &#8211; they being <em>&#8220;what do I 
      do when my loved one passes on?&#8221;</em> (for those who have retained 
      their funeral arrangements at Nordgren&#8217;s at my suggestion) and <em>&#8220;the 
      tragic stories families had of their disappointment in how the funerals 
      were conducted for their loved ones that had died in the past 3+ years</em> 
      &#8211; funerals that were conducted by others because I was not available 
      to them. As I have stated on so very many occasions, <strong><em>&#8220;A 
      family does NOT get a second chance to say good-bye to a loved one&#8221;</em></strong>, 
      and it is the funeral director&#8217;s responsibility to assure each and 
      every wish and concern of the family is addressed as if that family was 
      the ONLY family being cared for at the funeral home.</p>
    <p>None of the families in attendance and who made it a point to approach 
      me know, knew, or have had any contact with Katherine Mangsen. Several knew 
      Kurt Mangsen and expressed disappointment in him knowing how close I had 
      been to Kurt and how I had gone out of my way to do everything possible 
      to assure Kurt was introduced to everyone in the Orthodox Community and 
      that I considered Kurt to be a brother.</p>
    <p>But the most upsetting circumstances and the person whom just about everyone 
      could not understand his actions, statements, and purpose was that of <u><em><strong>Ronnie 
      Johnson</strong></em></u>. Each knew Ronnie and I had been associates at 
      Caswell-King Funeral Home for many years. Each knew our focus was on what 
      was best for the families first and foremost. Each was aware how we had 
      such a close working relationship within the Orthodox as well as the Armenian 
      Communities &#8211; and great respect amongst the clergy in both communities. 
      The question which continued to be posed to me on Saturday was <em>&#8220;How 
      could Ronnie sell his soul, make vicious statements everyone knew to be 
      false and proven to be false by testimony of funeral directors such as Francis 
      O&#8217;Connor and Anthony Athy, and how could he possibly live with himself 
      under the circumstances with all that I had done for Ronnie&#8217;s son, 
      Ross?&#8221;</em></p>
    <p>My response, &#8220;Of all those involved in the conspiracy and corruption, 
      (and I have learned unfortunately that the truth and justice doesn&#8217;t 
      matter to many people) Ronnie Johnson&#8217;s statements to Bresnahan; Ronnie 
      Johnson&#8217;s statements to Kurt Mangsen (and repeated by Kurt Mangsen 
      under oath as fact without verification); and statements of assumptions 
      on Ronnie&#8217;s behalf without knowledge to support the statements is 
      beyond my ability to comprehend the &#8220;whys&#8221; and &#8220;wherefores&#8221; 
      of his actions. I truly pity the man I once called a friend. I ONLY hope 
      he finds the inner peace to come clean before he comes to his time of judgment.</p>
    <p>I was truly disturbed to listen to the many disappointments of families 
      that had lost loved ones in the past 3 years, and stated their departed 
      loved ones deserved better than they received at the hands of funeral directors 
      and funeral homes that endeavored to carry out their every wish; but were 
      not up to speed on the customs, procedures, traditions, and processes of 
      the Orthodox Faith. Time and time again I was told, &#8220;You handled Dad&#8217;s 
      funeral with the grace and dignity he so rightfully deserved. Why weren&#8217;t 
      you there for mom? She was the ONLY mother we had or will have. She loved 
      you like a son, and you were not there for her.&#8221; &#8211; <em><strong>As 
      the Tears flowed!</strong></em></p>
    <p>The &#8220;GRIEF&#8221; on these families faces along with the grief in 
      their hearts was almost too unbearable to witness and listen to &#8211; 
      knowing full well how I was set up from the outset in this charade and deprived 
      of the opportunity to be of service to these families as the erroneous and 
      baseless allegations made by Mrs. Mangsen were addressed. As the daughter 
      of a woman whose mother had passed away 18 months earlier and who was forced 
      to make a quick decision as to where to take her mother stated, </p>
    <p><em>&#8220;May there be a <strong>plague</strong> on the front door of 
      the homes of each of the persons involved in taking you from us in our time 
      of need!&#8221; </em></p>
    <p>What was to be a joyous occasion for many people (30th Anniversary party) 
      became a nightmare for several families as they relived the tragic circumstances 
      surrounding the passing of their loved ones. I can ONLY compare this experience 
      with that of the families of Dr. Roger Moore, T. Catherine Rizkalla, and 
      Freda Haddad, who were forced to come to Boston under subpoena, testify 
      under oath, and relive the passing and death of their loved ones at the 
      Administrative Hearings; because Katherine &amp; Kurt Mangsen (Nordgren 
      Memorial Chapel) and the investigator for the State Board, Bresnahan, turned 
      their back on the truth, turned their attention on &#8220;force fitting&#8221; 
      baseless assumptions and assertions into existing regulations, and through 
      their personal biases and prejudices and that of Board Chairman, Kazlauskas, 
      chose not to consider, not to investigate, and not to verify the veracity 
      of the facts presented in my official detailed responses submitted to the 
      Board to Mrs. Mangsen&#8217;s complaints. </p>
    <p>Obviously there is much that is going on behind the scenes at this point, 
      and until I have <strong><em>&#8220;all&#8221;</em></strong> the facts to 
      share with you to continue to be as explicitly accurate as I have been and 
      always will be, I shall withhold them until the content is complete.</p>
    <p>This past week I was contacted by the National Media (name and affiliation 
      which shall remain confidential at this point) asking for all supporting 
      documentation to the content of what has been presented on the web site 
      &#8220;Justice At What Price&#8221;.</p>
    <p>Inquiring as to how the individual had heard about the web site and relevant 
      issues, I was informed that more than one anonymous funeral service provider 
      had forwarded information to this source. To be quite honest, I wanted to 
      release all 4,400 pages of documents at that very moment; but true to my 
      word, I indicated until I have exhausted all Administrative and Judicial 
      remedies available to me, it was my intent to allow justice to prevail &#8211; 
      if this be possible.</p>
    <p>That very evening I spent two (2) hours reviewing the archives and all 
      updates published on the web site <strong>www.justiceatwhatprice.com</strong> 
      and decided that I would entertain suggestions made to me over the past 
      3+ years that what I had and continued to experience in this miscarriage 
      of justice was deserving of being presented in book form for all to see 
      and read. As time permits, I shall research this very issue in more detail 
      and as always, keep you informed.</p>
