On Monday, December 19, 2005 I received an anonymous phone call from a
gentleman who indicated from the outset that his identity would remain nameless.
He indicated he was aware of conversations between Ronald Johnson and Jack
Kazlauskas several weeks before John Bresnahan visited Nordgren Memorial
Chapel on November 19, 2003 and that the announced inspection was not random,
but directed by Jack Kazlauskas – the sole intent was to find something
on Phil Haddad that the State Board could take action on.

I asked how he knew this and was Mr. Johnson aware of Mr. Bresnahan’s
visit before November 19, 2003? His response was, “I have direct knowledge
of the conversations between Kazlauskas & Bresnahan, and Kazlauskas’s
desire to get you (Haddad) at any cost. Johnson was aware Kazlauskas was
going to do something, but when and how, I do not know if Johnson was aware
of the action Kazlauskas and Bresnahan had arranged."

“Did Johnson go to Kazlauskas on his own or was he put up to do it
      by the Mangsen’s?” I asked. His response, “I don’t
know other than Johnson had several conversations with Kazlauskas in September,
October, and early November and Kazlauskas was eager to get you (Haddad).
I asked “why?” His response was “I don’t know other
than I overheard Kazlauskas say ‘It was an old wound’ that he
was going to close once and for all.”

The caller stated, “Doesn’t it seem odd to you that Bresnahan
did an unannounced inspection, surprisingly found a form missing from a
file, and within hours you are served with a letter of termination prepared
in advance signed by Mangsen and given to a process server to deliver to
      you that very same day?”

I pleaded with the caller to tell me who he was and how he knew all this.
His response, “I can’t for I’d be on the outside looking
in and I couldn’t afford it. I felt obliged to tell you - you have
been set up, and no one thought for a moment you would fight back the way
you have. Good Luck!” And he hung up.

To the Caller: "I am deeply grateful to you for
the call and information. It just reaffirms our belief the State Board
has put off the hearing long enough to make sure Mr. Kazlauskas was good
and dead so that he could not be questioned or confronted for his unethical
and criminal actions. Unfortunately, it is evident a number of good people
have now been drawn into this conspiracy and have no place to hide.

I have been unable to sleep thinking about this throughout the holidays.
I wish I could guaranty your privacy and confidentiality were you
to come forward – but unfortunately, I can’t! But, you
need to come forward (I need you to come forward) and for the good
and welfare of the funeral industry you need to come forward and tell
            what you know.

What I can assure you is the following: You will not have to go to
            the State Board or Division of Professional Licensure with the information;
but I, and my attorneys, will go with you to the Office of the Attorney
General, Commonwealth of Massachusetts and present all the information
you have stated to me in confidence until it is finally investigated
by an independent entity, which we have asked for and requested from
just about every department and agency in the State in the past 26
            months.

It is obvious you have visited this web site numerous times. I know what
I ask of you is a great deal. You took the first and very important step
in contacting me, and for that I am very grateful. As the title of this
web site suggests, "Justice Comes at a Very High Price!"

I apologize in advance for asking you to come forward and for putting
you in this position. If you choose not to come forward, I will certainly
understand. If you do decide to come forward, I will do everything in
my power to provide the public attention that will give you a measure
of protection from public officials if you are a civil servant or public
attention that will protect you from prejudice if you are in the funeral
        service in some capacity.

To the Caller: Whatever your decision – I graciously
understand and accept it. Please know I deeply appreciate you coming forward
to the extent that you have.

Respectfully,

Philip G. Haddad, Jr.

The corruption within State Government continues to run rampant, and in
some cases, unchecked. Sitting back quietly, watching it continue to spread,
and doing nothing about it makes you ‘almost’ an accessory to
      the crime.

To those within the industry knowledgeable of the circumstances
and corrupt actions of your peers, come forward for “the Truth Will
      Set You Free.”

To those of you in the public sector (employees and or appointees of the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts), I ask you to rise above the corruption
you have witnessed and continue to witness and speak up for the honor
you have sworn to uphold. Yes, standing for justice and the truth will
“Set you Free” and the feeling is so good.

Honor yourselves in the “Eyes of God” today, before you are
forced to do so at the end of your life, and you shall be “free to
live every day of the rest of your earthly life.”
Please Contact Me Again!"

Part 2 of a 2-Part Segment – January 7, 2006

If you are wondering “Why I waited till now to publish the
aforementioned appeal to the anonymous caller? Please read on!

I continue to be asked “Why I have temporarily removed the Update
presentations on this web site?” The answer – “The Superior
Court Judge who has ruled on one or more of the numerous petitions filed
against me by Nordgren Memorial Chapel’s corporate attorney, Scott
      S. Sinrich, strongly suggested that the Mangsen’s and me consider
Mediation and that Mr. Ford, Clerk of Courts, would make himself available
for the Mediation process. I immediately agreed to the process and the Mangsen’s
agreed ONLY if I were to delete all references to them, their attorney and
accountant, members of Nordgren’s corporate Board of Directors, and
any mention of Nordgren Memorial Chapel.

Upon advice of counsel and as a good faith gesture, I agreed to their request
and authorized the temporary removal of the updates going back to April,
2005 – with the stipulation the Mediation proceed on a timely basis.

The Mediation was scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2005 in the offices
of Mr. Ford at the Court House. The day before the Mediation was to be held
the Mangsen’s cancelled indicating they could not attend because they
had a funeral. I was once again advised by counsel to give the Mangsen’s
one additional opportunity to go forward with the Mediation and to not reinstate
the archived updates until after the new date of January 3, 2006 for the
Mediation. Reluctantly, I agreed once again.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2006 Carolyn and I were driving into the parking
garage at 9:10AM for the 9:45AM Mediation session when we received a phone
call from our counsel indicating Atty. Sinrich cancelled the Mediation that
was to commence within the hour.

Was I surprised? No! Upset? Yes! Carolyn and I returned home and I proceeded
to the office and emailed Atty. Dan Flynn inquiring as to the circumstances
      of the cancellation.

Atty. Flynn contacted me later in the day to inform me that the reason
given to Mr. Ford for the cancellation was the weather, but the reason given
to him by Mr. Sinrich was that Mrs. Mangsen was disturbed by the content
of the December 28, 2005 update on this web site.

The Mediation was going to be the first opportunity in more than 25 months
that I would have had to respond to the allegations, accusations, and converse
with the Mangsen’s and Mr. Johnson to set the record straight and
to come to what was hopefully “common ground” and to put the
      ugly mess somewhat behind us.

The definition of “HONOR” is –

“a good name or public esteem”;

“a showing of merited respect”;

“one whose worth brings respect”

“to live up to and fulfill the terms of a commitment”

I suggest to you the Mangsen’s need to reassess their position when
it comes to “honor”. I also suggest the Mangsen’s and
their attorney have dishonored the Superior Court and its Clerk of the Courts
for the second time in as many months.

I end this update with that which I have stated on numerous occasions on
this web site in the past –

“You come into this life with nothing, and you leave
ONLY with a name and reputation” - and with the promise that you will
attest to who you are and what you have done in your earthly life to the
      “Almighty.”

Are you ready?

Next update and the initial presentation of the results of our investigation
      on Thursday, January 12, 2006

Philip G. Haddad, Jr.
