<p> I had intended to convey to you in this update correspondence between
the Massachusetts State Board of Registration in Funeral Directing and Embalming,
the Division of Professional Licensure, and the Hearings Counsel for the
Division and my attorneys. I have agreed to suspend further release of this
information pending the review presently under way to ascertain All circumstances
leading up to and through the assertions and accusations made by Katherine
Mangsen, wife of Kurt Mangsen, Nordgren Memorial Chapel, and John Bresnahan,
investigator for the State Board, and actions taken by the State Board and
Division of Professional Licensure thereto.</p>
<p>The topic of this update is:</p>
<h3 class="title">"What You Resist-Persists"</h3>
<p>What do I mean by “What you resist – persists?” In this
reference, I speak to the issue of <strong>“The Truth.”</strong>
To date you have read and heard about assertions and accusations made by
Katherine and Kurt Mangsen, Kevin Mercadante, and John J. Kazlauskas (recently
deceased) – funeral directors in Central Massachusetts - assertions
and accusations that are blatant and abdominal lies. The State Board of
Registration in Funeral Directing and Embalming has taken up the cause without
benefit of obtaining the facts; and henceforth “The Truth.”
Their actions (The State Board and Division of Professional Licensure) in
some ways and lack of action in others has drawn them into a deep black
hole with no means of escape – as the only exit is by way of “The
Truth” being heard loud and clear.</p>
<p>All parties to this false, vicious, and malicious series of lies are soon
to be held accountable for their actions – and when their lies are
proven and their actions and motives exposed – the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts will be forced to hold them accountable for the extraordinary
costs and expenses incurred by me and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
as a result of their intentional lies and deceit for which the State Board
has assumed an active role. At the moment several investigative agencies
within the Commonwealth are aggressively looking into the issues and actions
for which this web site www.justiceatwhatprice.com was created. More soon.</p>
<p>In the meantime, it is now down to a “Matter of Life,” or should
I say, “Death” for the reputations of those who have perpetrated
this scheme of lies and deceit. I have patiently sat back and watched an
investigation flawed from its inception (and I couldn’t figure out
why and how until we were able to obtain an audio taped conversation which
preceded my appearance at the December 9, 2003 meeting of the State Board).
What transpired immediately thereafter and for the next 7 months (until
June 29, 2004) did not make sense to me and my attorneys – but then
from the darkness came “Light!”</p>
<p>As our investigation turned up the facts supporting the “conspiracy
and witch hunt” theory, those involved pushed the panic button and
attempted to conjure up anything they could find or invent to support their
previous assertions and accusations – and the plot “thickened.”</p>
<p>My faith in people has taken a severe blow as you can well imagine. My
faith in “The System of Justice” is without challenge as is
my faith in GOD.</p>
<p>I wish harm or ill will to no one! If I did, I would be as evil and guilty
of sin as those who have initiated these false and malicious accusations.
I call upon Kathy Cartmell-Sirrico (present Chairperson for the State Board);
the other members of the State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers,
Edward Mazur, Ralph A. Barile, and Judith McCarthy; John Bresnahan, investigator;
Katherine and Kurt Mangsen; and Kevin Mercadante to “Stand for the
Truth” now so that you do not have to stand for the Truth as Mr. Kazlauskas
has before the throne of GOD.</p>
<p>It is time to “Stand for who you are” – and to “Stand
for the Truth” – the same truth that will lead you out of the
ugliness you have created. It’s not too late, but it soon will be.</p>
<p>I remain committed to presenting the facts, to bringing forth the multitude
of families who have been referenced in the complaints filed by Katherine
Mangsen, so that they can come face to face with Katherine and Kurt Mangsen
and with Kevin Mercadante and relate the truth to the authorities. I am
committed to exposing those whose actions from the outset were ill conceived,
and who for what ever means of reward was contemplated, have put their names,
reputations, and futures on the line.</p>
<p>For those that know me well, know I possess a deep faith in what is right
and just. I have championed the cause of what is right for every family
I have been honored to serve at their time of need (the loss of a loved
one). I have put their needs before mine and those of my family, for I am
motivated by the belief that “A Family Does Not Get a Second Chance
to Say Good-bye to a Loved One.” Henceforth, every detail and every
wish and concern at the time must be adequately considered and addressed.
I have unjustly been taken out of this role by actions of a few misguided
individuals – who possess the means of righting a wrong that, if left
uncorrected, will haunt them every day for the rest of their lives.</p>
<p>Doing what is right and just today, will free “you” from the
bonds of “the death” you will experience each and every day
as you await “God’s Infinite Judgment.”</p>
<p>I Pray you “take a stand” for who you truly are! I Pray you
do not “resist” the truth any longer – for “What
you resist – persists!” and the truth WILL persist! I Pray “you”
do what is right and just for, yes, the ALMIGHTY is Watching!</p>
