This full-day tour will introduce you to one of the world's most attractive cities, nestled between mountain and sea, with its exciting blend of European and African styles and cultures. We tour the city-centre, and ascend Table Mountain by cable way. At lunch time you will be free to stroll and browse in The Waterfront - the restored Old Harbour area, now the centre of the city's leisure life. Spend the afternoon at the Waterfront if you wish, or come with your guide for further touring, including options such as a tour of Cape Town Castle or a cruise in Table Bay.

We tour the tranquil Wine lands area of Stellenbosch, where old Cape Dutch wine farms nestle beneath towering mountain peaks. We visit some of these wine-estates. We'll be wine-tasting at two estates, and you will have the opportunity to purchase wine. We also visit the historical town of Stellenbosch, where you can stroll about the old streets lined with picturesque whitewashed houses and shaded by oak trees.

We first visit the nearby Vergelegen Estate at the foot of Helderberg mountain, with its classic Cape Dutch manor house, gardens and parkland. Then we move south along the coastal road, with exquisite views of the Cape Peninsula across the bay, and continue to Hermanus. We will stroll on unspoiled beaches and in nature areas on lower mountain slopes, enjoying the amazing variety of Cape flora, and the superb mountain and sea views.

</b></a><br>

Today you will see exquisite coastal scenery as we circle the 50 km (30 mile) long peninsula on the coastal road. Particular highlights are the dramatic cliff drive at Chapmans Peak, the stunning beach at Noordhoek, and of course the magnificence of Cape Point itself. From the small fishing town of Hout Bay you can take an optional cruise to Seal Island to see seals in their natural habitat (highly recommended). And we'll be enjoying the antics of the baboons along the way, and a penguin colony on one of the lovely beaches.

Point, funicular railway to highest view-site, and penguin colony.

Cancellation fee will be levied if notice of cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to the first day of the symposium.

In the event of adverse weather, road conditions or any other unforeseen circumstance occurring after the tour has booked, the Operator reserves the right, at its discretion, to amend the tour in any way deemed necessary, without liability to the passengers. The Operator takes great care in the execution of its own operations, and in the selection of the suppliers of other services incorporated into its tours. However, the Operator, its officers, employees and agents, will not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, death, injury, accident or inconvenience howsoever arising. The operator reserves the right to cancel the tour in the event of insufficient numbers. If the tours are cancelled by the operator the tour fees paid by the accompanying persons will be refunded. Comprehensive terms and conditions contract of the operator can be provided on request.
