looking for a special home. This sweetly
shy nine-year-old female has been
diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, a
condition where her kidneys don't work
as well as they should. While this is a
serious condition, it is also treatable,
and Orlon could happily live for years
with proper care (which includes feeding
her a special commercially prepared food
and having blood work done every six
months to monitor her kidneys). Orlon
deserves a chance at a forever home. She
was relinquished to the shelter a year
ago when her owner went to a nursing
home. She has lived in a foster home
since then, and she has proven herself a
gentle and affectionate cat. If you're
looking for a cat to sit beside you on
the couch and quietly purr while you
watch tv or read, Orlon is the cat for
you. She also gets along well with dogs

is an adorable, sweet female kitten that
was born approximately July 12, 2009.
She is now about 14 weeks old. At 12
weeks old after her spay, she was found
to have a congenital heart defect. She
is now stable on daily medication, and
acting just like a beautiful, friendly,
lovable, little purr-box.
Unfortunately, this heart condition is
not curable. She will need routine check
ups with a cardiologist and will
probably have a very short life. If
ever there was a special needs kitten,
this is her. She is precious and
gorgeous, and ready to be the light of
anyone's life that has the heart, the
means and the commitment to care for

sweet and affable. Gets along with all
dogs and people. She should not be
placed with a puppy or a dog that would
take advantage of her good nature. She
is a gentle soul and will not fight for
a toy or food.
She
weighs 16 lbs and is happy to be carried
or dressed up in all kinds of outfits!
Her new
home must not have stairs or a swimming
pool. Too dangerous for the blind dog.
You may fence or gate them off securely.
Her new
home will only have considerate gentle
children over the age of 10 yrs.
This
breed will need grooming every 8 -10
weeks for the rest of her life at a cost
of approx $60 per session.

CRATE TRAINED. Is a bit shy when 1<sup>st</sup> meeting people but warms up quickly.
She is fine with all other dogs and pets
because of her KIND GENTLE SPIRIT.
Maxine has a slight birth defect and
walks with an uncoordinated gate that is
actually cute with a high stepping
motion. She is slightly sight impaired
and cannot go downstairs. She cannot
walk on a least and needs a fenced back
