<p><b><font size=+1>TrackIT is simply a radio and siren working together.
The radio consists of the smaller transmitter unit, which sends out the
signal. Once the transmitter is turned on and the receiver is turned on
and it automatically syncs to the transmitter random signal. TrackIT is
then armed. The siren will SCREAM when the signal is lost between the two
units.</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>How does the radio work?</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>RADIO WAVES are the technical name of the actual signals
that connect the two units. These radio waves travel at 186,282 miles per
second, the speed of light. Sending out these radio waves can be pictured
as fireworks going off. The radio waves are constantly being sent out or
transmitted in every direction and various strengths.</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>When do I use the signal booster switch on the transmitter?</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>The radio signals strength or tracking distance will
vary for a variety of reasons. The primary reasons are power, surroundings
and antenna positioning. If the batteries are low less signal strength
can be expected. The effects of your surroundings can also greatly change
the ability for the receiver to hear a signal from the transmitter. Finally,
like an AM/FM radios antenna, the positions on the transmitter and receiver
antennas effect the signal quality and protection range. "Dead Zone" signal
losses are the name for unexplained alarm sounds at close ranges. The antenna
positioning usually causes them. Slight movements of the transmitter or
receiver will correct the signal loss and the resync feature will stop
the alarm from sounding.</font></b>

or has electronic interference the signal booster switch can be set to
HI to send out a more powerful signal. The HI setting in open space will
let you be separated from your valuables a greater distance without sounding

<p><b><font size=+1>What does the RESYNC feature do?</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>TrackIT was designed with a resync feature to make
it easier to use and guarantee the strongest and most reliable signal between
the transmitter and receiver. If you accidentally walk away from your valuables
and the alarm sounds, all you have to do is walk back into range and the
alarm with stop itself. This is also the case if you have a "dead zone"
signal loss, TrackIT will automatically shut off the alarm as soon as the
signal returns.</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>What do you mean by 256 random codes?</font></b>
<p><b><font size=+1>TrackIT uses a random code generator to give you the
highest level of security. When you turn on the transmitter, it produces
one of 256 random signals. The receiver is then turned on to learn the
code and synchronize to it. Every time you turn on your transmitter a new
code is generated, making it impossible for a thief to know how to stop
TrackIT from screaming.</font></b>
