They have closed the Palestinians into Bantustans, fashioned more likely on the Warsaw Ghetto, then act feigned disgust when they are compared to the Third Reich. They have built ravines, roads and walls to keep out the poverty and desperation of their own making, more likely resembling South African Apartheid.

It is the belief of this author that Diaspora Jews who REALLY love Israel, will love it enough to force it to a bargaining table where the essential issues are finally resolved. As for Ehud Olmert, Bebe Knownothing, and Ehud Barak, they are wholly unqualified to make peace and it is abundantly clear they'd rather vilify Palestinians than share the land. Both sides need an impartial player.

When two people believe a single sliver of land belongs to both of them, exclusive of the other, something is illogical. If they both have equal claim, then the only solution is to share it, not split it. There is no formula where you trade land for peace, as you will end up with neither.

Our plan? "The United Federation of Israel and Palestine, 2 people, 1 country, three flags". Turns out the Palestinians offered this before and the Israelis turned it down, but told Americans they offered it and Palestinians turned it down. The same game for 60 years? Actually "the oldest game" as one Israeli cop told this author when caught giving a parking ticket to a Palestinian two times the price he'd given the Israeli.

Jews from America, Canada, South Africa, England, and all other points east, north, south and west have done nothing but support the Israeli State, since its inception. In return, they are treated like crap by Israelis who literally think they are God's gift to the world. The absolute arrogance of Israeli companies in their daily transactions with others resembles less a relation of supplier to client, than an air of entitlement.

Therefore, lacking other viable options, we are left with the one last effective tool to force them to the bargaining table with credible solutions. First they say Arafat is corrupt and they won't deal with him, then they push for elections and undermine the results. This is a democracy? Since they knew Hamas would win, what was the true purpose of holding a plebiscite? How about 'divide and conquer', since that was their end game?

We advocate that Jews in the Diaspora exorcise their most powerful weapon, money. Stop visiting Israel, doing business with Israeli firms or trading in Israeli made products or firms which support them, or donating to various pro-Israel organizations whose theory is "Israel, right or wrong". We support Israel when Israel supports peace.

We demand the following of Israel immediately :

#1 Israel cease all settlement expansion #2 All roadblocks dismantled #3 Recognize the legitimate election of Hamas and allow the seating of its cabinet #4 End the siege of Gaza #5 Release all funds held to the PA #6 End summary execution and group punishment, both war crimes #7 Remove all barriers to freedom of movement #8 Formulate a new Peace Authority to implement this action plan comprised of both Israelis and Palestinians in locked negotiation #9 Announce the establishment of the "United Federation of Israel and Palestine". #10 Offer $100-150 Billion in compensation and in lieu of "Right of Return" (the Palestinians will accept). #11 Establish joint-police patrols in all disputed territories. #12 Require the teaching of Hebrew in PA schools and Arabic in all Israeli schools. #13 Re-write the constitution to recognize the legitimate rights of all claimants and establish a codicil that neither, regardless of population, can vote out the other's government, thereby guaranteeing the absolute right of both Israel and Palestine to exist.

This is our "Road Map" which leads to peace, not to a dead end and over a cliff as is the case with the current Bush/Quartet manipulation which relies on "divide and conquer" tactics. There is no other solution except civil war and mutual destruction, which is not our vision, nor God's. It is God's vision that all should share and grow together creating a sustainable state on a contiguous and viable land.

Baruch Hashem Insha' Allah

10th April, 2008

DP Lang, New York City

United Federation of Israel & Palestine (www.israelpalestinepeace.org)
