by the roof gardens at Rockefeller Center
in New York City, the garden has a large, central
lawn surrounded by planters designed to
reflect the classical moderne style of the building.

and to subdivide the space, fiberglass panels
were used to create walls of translucency and
contrast in this courtyard, which is located
above a parking garage. The design uses linear
planters of varying heights to create a layered
effect, and a black metal trellis along one edge
of the courtyard provides privacy and heightens
the garden's modern design.</div></td>
