consulting with the right Examiner. It makes sense to enlist the insight of the
person most familiar with a particular art area. A computer search can't do that!</font></p>

<li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">A good search begins with a manual search in the
appropriate classes and subclasses in the Patent Office and continues to include the
Examiner's own classified foreign patent and literature art corresponding to the U.S.
classes and subclasses. A computer search can't do that!</font></p>

<li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">A good search includes the Automated Patent System
(APS), available only on the computer work stations in the PTO. A <a href="http://www.uspto.gov">www.uspto.gov</a> search on the internet cannot perform as
well as the APS.</font></p>

stages for achieving the best searches cannot be duplicated except at the PTO. For

in the RO at the PTO, they are obligated to verify that the documents enumerated on the
receipt card are actually present before the receipt card is stamped? So why don't
you have us file all of your PCTs?</p>

proximity, we can personally talk to the drafting branch of the publishing division when
the application has been allowed and when you wand quick acceptance of the formal drawings
