<p>... morning... July, 2012.<BR>
Along the southwest coast of Newfoundland is the twin harbor town of Rose Blanche. Out on the edge of the white, rocky cliffs of Diamond Cove,<BR> sits the Rose Blanche Lighthouse. A granite stone building... locally quarried, big multi-colored granite blocks of rose, gray, tan, brown and blue.<BR>
This lighthouse entered service in 1873 and operated for approximately 70 years. After it was abandoned and allowed a fall to ruin...<BR> it was fully restored in 1999 and is now a registered Newfoundland historic building.<BR>
