The Avalon Theatre, ticket window at the front center, occupied the majority of the lower level, while the Marine Ballroom, catered to teen dances on the upper floor. Currently, an association of Avalon citizens is raising funds for a bronze plaque to be erected on the Avalon boardwalk to commemorate the old Avalon Pier. A limited edition of 100 signed and numbered color reproductions of this watercolor are for sale, with proceeds directed to that funding.">
