tool set is for use with any structural housing material and is designed
only for bearings containing a grooved outer race.
<p><font size="3">A staking tool set consists of two starter anvils, two
finishing anvils, and two mandrels.
A set of anvil dies swage a portion of the race over chamfers on the
accommodating housing bore, and as a result both sides of the
bearing are staked simultaneously. </font></p>
<p><font size="3">This swaging method conforms to both National Aerospace
Standard NAS</font> <font size="3">0331 Method 100 and Military Standard
MIL-STD-1599.</font></p>
<p>Die sizes are in stock for sizes -3 to -16 in both narrow and wide form.
High misalignment sets are in stock for sizes -4 to -12. </p>
<p>Most spherical bearings built to American Bearing Standards can be
swaged with these tools. Aurora Bearing Company ANC-*TG, AWC-*TG,
PNB-*TG, PWB-*TG, HAB-*TG series; NHBB ABT-*V, ABWT-*V, and ABYT-*V can
all be swaged using these tools. Bearings conforming to MS-14101,
MS-14103, and other standard specification bearings can be staked as well. </p>

removal tool set is for use with any structural housing material and is
designed only for bearings containing a grooved outer race.
<p><font size="3">A removal tool set consists of a cutter, a small
installation tool, a base installation tool, and two mandrels. </font><font size="3">The
cutter is designed to easily remove sufficient material from the swaged
bearing edge using only rotation with hand tools so that the bearing can be pressed
out with a precision vise or press. </font></p>
<p><font size="3">Note that this method preserves the housing integrity by
removing only enough of the bearing's swaged rim to allow the bearing
to be pressed out. </font></p>
