<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Since 1993, AAT has provided a full range of IT services under several
subcontracts for the automated systems supported by the Departmental Systems
Division, Administrative Systems Division, and Housing Systems Division within
the Office of Information Policies and Systems (IPS) . These divisions support a
wide variety of users, including the Office of the Inspector General, General
Counsel, Public Affairs, Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, Community Planning
and Development, Office of Finance and Accounting, the Office of Personnel, the
Office of Administrative Management Services, the Office of Budget, the Office
of Procurement and Contracts, the Office of Information Technology, and the
Assistant Secretary for Housing. Specific services have included: preparation of
cost/benefit analyses and functional requirements documents; development of high-level
system and subsystem specifications; development of conversion plans;
development and implementation of application software; production of life cycle
documentation; operations support; and user assistance.</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">HUD�s standard environment integrates desktop multi-function
microcomputers, Novell Local Area Networks (LANs), mainframe computers, a
telecommunications network, and LAN gateways which permit shared
telecommunications access from the workstations. A summary of some of the tasks performed by
AAT includes:</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Analysis of the HUDCAPS accounting system to determine the modifications
required to make the system Year 2000 compliant.</font></li>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Modification and enhancement of various LAN-based systems including the
Funds Accounting and Status Tracking System, Inventory of Automated Systems,
and Project and Resource Management system.</font></li>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Analysis and maintenance of the Line of Credit Control System which
processes payment requests that are received via one of the Voice Response
systems.</font></li>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Assistance in the full life cycle development of the Consolidated Planning
System which facilitates organizations in developing a consolidated plan
when applying for grants under the Community Planning and Development�s
formula grant programs.</font></li>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Development of Functional Requirements Documents for the development of
automated systems required to support the Office of Consumer and Regulatory
Affairs, Interstate Land Sales and conform to the Real Estate Settlement
Procedures Act. These documents included information on performance
requirements, preliminary design considerations, hardware, software and
communications environment, and security measures.</font></li>
<li><font face="Times New Roman" size="3" color="#333399">Conduct Technical Reviews of project initiating documents developed by
other HUD contractors to determine whether they meet HUD life cycle
documentation standards.</font></li>
