Drug Enforcement Administration</b></font></p>
<p><font color="#333399" size="3" face="Times New Roman">AAT has provided services to the Drug Enforcement
Administration (DEA) since
1997. Under one of our current contracts, AAT provides 15 people who support the
Call Center within the Office of Diversion
Control, Registration Unit. AAT�s services include processing new and annual
registrations for handlers of controlled substances; answering
telephone and written inquiries related to all registration matters; issuing and
deleting Order Forms; coordinating and processing actions to deny, revoke,
suspend or restrict a registration; approving or disapproving new applications
for registration in conjunction with the Field Division Offices; and processing
and maintaining all registration related documents and records under the
Controlled Substances Act (CSA). AAT staff respond to
approximately 3,000 calls per week either directly or retrieved from a voice
mail system.<br>
<br>
Under a prior contract, AAT provided 27 people to
perform administrative, technical, and program support services for the Drug
Enforcement Administration, El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), El Paso, Texas.
To support EPIC�s mission, AAT reviewed and coded intelligence information for
inclusion into a variety of automated databases, coordinated the printing and
distribution of EPIC products, received and distributed law enforcement
information reported to EPIC, developed automated databases to maintain
intelligence information, provided assistance in the preparation of EPIC
intelligence documents and publications, conducted research, and maintained a
reference library for use by the DEA Intelligence Research Specialists.<br>
<br>
Under an
Information Technology (IT) contract which may be used throughout DEA, AAT provides
services which include:</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font color="#333399" size="3" face="Times New Roman">IT management studies, including the development of strategic, tactical
and operational plans</font></li>
<li><font color="#333399" size="3" face="Times New Roman">Database administration services including database design, data
dictionary design, performance monitoring, data security, and data
conversion</font></li>
<li><font color="#333399"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Software development of applications using
Oracle 8.0, Oracle Web, Visual Interdev, and Access</font><br>
</font></li>
