William Cheshire married Mary Tennison and thereafter in most Cheshire families there is a Tennison Cheshire. Some even gave their daughters the name of Tennison. Several generations after the first Cheshire/Tennyson marriage my g-g-g-g grandfather <a href="jarvis.html">James Jarvis married Sarah Cheshire</a> in Rowan Co NC, 1813.
