Warren Jarvis, son of James Jarvis and Sarah Cheshire, never married.  For sometime after he cme to man's estate, he owned and occupied the home place of the late Milton Blackburn.  He hired "Aunt Millie," a colored servant from his father's estate to keep house for him.<P>

He moved with his brother, Enoch, to Arkansas in 1849 and for a while engaged in agricultural pursuit.  Later, Warren secured employment on a steamboat plying the waters of the Mississippi between St. Louis and New Orleans.  He died of cholera during a scourge of that dread disease and his body was cast overboard near Natchez Mississippi.  The exact date of this death is not known, but is thought to have been about the 1852.<P>
