They are certainly a link back to Nathan's Jarvis family in North Carolina. Why did he leave NC with the Douthits and move to Missouri? Does the Hanes family have any of Nathan's letters? <P> Obviously, these <a href="jarlet.html">letters</a> meant a great deal to Nathan Jarvis as he and then his descendants kept the letters for over 140 years. Following is a list of letters and documents in chronological order.
