After the war and prior to 1790, he moved to the Advance, NC area where he reared a family. He also served with the Second North Carolina Regiment during the War of 1812. For his service during the American Revolution, he applied for a pension (S2892) on November 21, 1832 in Rowan County, NC. He died October 14, 1846 and was married to Esther Armsworthy, daughter of Daniel Armsworthy.<P> <HR> First Generation<P> Children of John Myers and Esther Armsworthy<BR> Nancy Myers m. This suggests that Conrad was deceased by that date also. A Margaret Myres age 55 is head of household in Davie County in 1850, with John age 28 and Mary age 30.
