<HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE> Daniel McBride Will</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY BGCOLOR="#ffffff"> <H3><center> Will of Daniel McBride</H3></center> <h4> <HR> Surry County, North Carolina<BR> November 5, 1820<P> In the name of God Amen, I Daniel Mc Bride of the County and State aforesaid Being of sound & perfect mind and memory, blessed be God, Do this Fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty, Make and publish this my Last will and Testament in the manner following. that is to say------<P> First I give and bequeath unto My beloved WIfe EIZABETH McBride, all my Estate both Real Personal during her life or Widdowhood, then to be equally divided between my five Children to wit THOMAS, WILLIAM, JOHN, GREEN & SAMUEL<P> Secondly, I want all my Just Debts paid out of my money or property, & also want my Children to be Tollerable Educated<P> Thirdly, I want all Debts & moneys due to me to be collected and put to the best use & to that which would be most to the interest of my family. <P> Fourthly if any of my chidren Should marry, I want there to be hope to something as much that would be there part.---<P> Fifthly my will and Desire is that if my wife should think proper, & my other Executors think for the Land to be sold that I now live on & to purchase a nother place where my wife would be better satisfied, The whole of this to strictly attended to by my Executors And I hereby make & ordain my beloved wife ELIZABETH MCBRIDE JOHN MARTIN & JOHN GREEN Executrix and Executors of this my Last will and Testament in witness whereof I the Sd.
