<STRONG>The above plan represents the land belonging to the estate of William Johnson, deceased, lying on the south Yadkin in Rowan County, ----------Sept. 22, 1802. - Beginning a line.... stone...in John Johnson's fist (? - note the hand <U>drawn</U> on map), Isaac Anderson's corner; running thense South 20 poles to a Post oak; thense S. 85 degrees E 162 poles to a Black oak his corner thense North 33 poles to a Post the corner of the new tract, thense East 172 poles to a stone & small Black oak on James Martin's line; thense North 120 poles to a Hickory on the bank of the river; thense up the meanders of the river to a Birch a little above the mouth of Hunting creek; Thense across the river N. 30 poles to a large Maple on the bank of Hunting Creek, thense up the meanders of the creek about 67 poles to a Birch, thense West 140 poles to a Walnut on the west bank of the river thense up the river, N. 10/2 poles to a Dogwood, James Harris's corner, then West 162 poles to a small Black oak his corner; then South passing Thos. Anderson's corner, then running with his line, in all 344 poles to a small Black oak on Isaac Anderson's line; thense with it, East 203 poles to the beginning.  Containing Nine hundred and ninety five acres.<P>
