Harper, deceased. Petition for Dower Decree: This cause coming on to be heard upon the petition the exhibits and the arguments of counsel, it is declared by the court that Wm. Harper, late of said County hath recently departed this life intestate leaving petitioner, his widow, and said son and grandchildren his only heirs at law that the said intestate seized and possessed of the lands specified in the petition and that petitioner is entitled to dower therein. It is therefore considered adjudged and decreed by the court that a writ of dower issue to the Sheriff of said County commanding him to summon a jury of 12 freeholders unconnected with petitioner to view said real estate and to lay off and allott to petitioner by mets and bounds one third part thereof in value the same to include the dwelling house in which intestate resided at his death and all the necessary out houses used there with and attached thereto and that they make report under their hands and seals to the next term of this court and that this decree be enrolled.<P> <HR> Fifth Generation<P> Children of John Harper and 1) Catherine Boyer<BR> Martha Harper (1831-?) m. <a href="blackb.html">Calvin W.
