Smith (1867-1951)<P> Estate papers at the NC state archives were filed in 1946 for Oscar E. Holder, son of Adelaide Elizabeth Smith and John Emory Holder. These papers give information about this family pertinent to Augustine Smith's land, and indicate that Augustine and Mary Cooper Smith had ten children altogether, three of whom died in childhood.
