"He has left a wife and 8 children, and one died before him. He fell from the hay mow in his barn (he had been packing fodder away). The fall injured his head, and although he was able to go into the house without assistance and gave directions to send for a physician, in an hour after he fell he became insensible, and remained so till he died on Thursday night about 10 minutes before 12 o'clock. He was a man greatly esteemed by his neighbors, and a worthy church member." - Records of the Moravians in NC, Volume XII, pg. 6729.

2 Photos Nancy Rebecca Jarvis Cook and Cook Family

First Generation:
Children of Jacob Cook and Nancy Rebecca Jarvis
Mary Elizabeth Cook (1843-1907) m. William Carlos Strupe (1823-1907)
James H.
