Dates indicate the earliest paper in file. Jacob, John and William Aaron are listed on the 1759 Tax List for Rowan County, NC. In the 1820 Federal Census, Rockingham Co., NC Elizabeth Irion is Head of Household with the following persons: 1 male, up to to 10; 1 male, 16; 1 male 16-20; 1 female, 16; 1 female 26; 1 female, 45+. Peter and John Irion/Iron are listed in the 1840 Stokes County census. Both are head of household.<P> According to the 1850 Federal Census, Stokes Co., NC, Peter D. Irion/Aaron was born in Virginia about 1814. Peter first married Elizabeth Fulton/Fultin in 1835. In 1840, Peter married Malinda White who was born in North Carolina about 1820. Peter died before 1870. In 1880 Malinda Aron is living with her daughter and son-in-law, Andrew and Martha Jane Holt.
