The principal function of the <strong>Statistical/Quantitative Analyst</strong> will be to<br>
contribute expertise pertaining to the development of the necessary statistical<br>
parameters and mathematical representations for use in the fundamental analyses of
wholesale energy markets across the United States. The Statistical/Quantitative
Analyst will work as part of a diverse team of professionals that conduct fundamental
market analysis of commodity energy markets and develop forward price curve views across
those markets. Specifically, the accountabilities are:</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="2">Apply existing and create new spreadsheet models and statistical programs
(e.g., SAS, Matlab) to perform the necessary statistical analysis to assess the
uncertainty drivers of energy market prices and extract the probabilistic value of assets
within various market structures.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Work within a team environment (e.g., market modelers, statistical
specialists, financial/valuation analysts) as a statistical expert to formulate the
analytical supply & demand fundamentals of various energy and ancillary service
markets. </font></li>
<li><font size="2">Support in the assessment of the economic impacts of strategic options
& proposed transactions on the Company's existing portfolio of assets & positions.
</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Prepare business assessments, probabilistic characterizations and
presentation materials that summarize the results and drive toward effective
decision-making.</font></li>
</ul>
<p align="left"><font size="2">The basic qualifications for this position are:</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="2">Undergraduate degree in economics, mathematics or related discipline<br>
required. Advanced technical and/or MBA degree required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques and applications required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Proficient in using high-end statistical package(s) (e.g., SAS, Matlab)<br>
is required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Well-developed skills in Excel modeling are required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">A minimum of 2 years of experience in the analysis of time-series data<br>
required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Prior experience in developing and applying mathematical representations<br>
(e.g., econometric models, stochastic models, neural networks) is required.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Prior experience in probabilistic simulation techniques is preferred.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Strong programming skills (e.g., Visual Basic or C++) is preferred.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Familiarity with gas and power markets is preferred.</font></li>
<li><font size="2">Some experience in a capital-intensive industry that includes some<br>

<font size="2"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Plan, coordinate, and supervise

hardware, software, and peripherals. Develop guidelines and recommend EMS system
configurations and upgrades to maximize the continued use and value of the EMS system.
Responsible for developing and coordinating training programs. Plans and supervise display

one-line displays and real-time database. Serve as contact with the Optimization teams,

<strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Manage the team responsible for the
company’s generation assets. Perform engineering analysis on generation projects.
Manage and develop the relevant sections of O&M contracts. Perform engineering
performance analysis on the various cogeneration projects. Coordinate with the Origination
and Analyst teams to develop economic evaluations of the various power projects and work
with power traders to maximize the value of the existing power assets and contracts.
Develop and maintain a highly technical staff knowledgeable in current power generation
technology. <br>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or
Electrical Engineering required. A minimum of 10 year’s power plant design,
operations and maintenance are required. Computer and analytical skills are required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and 20% travel is expected.</p>

<font size="2"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Provide technical expertise for
the development of IPP projects worldwide. Recommend and develop process improvements,
design enhancements, construction cost control and cost efficiency. Overall responsibility
will be to assure that new IPP facilities are designed, constructed and operated in the

evaluation. Determines the appropriate deal structure for complex deals, pricing and

transactions, calculating hedge ratios for all greeks, and working with the other

the transactions. Create, design and analyze transactions using latest theory financial

</u><p></font><font color="#0000A0" size="3"><strong>D</strong><b>ATA MINING SPECIALIST</b></font><br>
<font size="2"><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Responsible for maintaining a data
warehouse of textual and numerical market information and utilizing data mining
methodologies in support of trading and marketing operations. Coordinate development of
broad-based foundation for meta-data, implement an effective organizational structure in
the data warehouse, and create tools to enable flexible data extraction in a usable
