Summary Highlights of Recent Transmission
and Bulk Power Agreements

Northeast 

GPU has filed agency agreements under which it will provide transmission service for retail wheeling. ER98-1408.

NUI Energy, a sub of NUI Corp, owner of gas distribution facilities in six states, has filed for marketer status. ER98-1520.

NIMO is providing transmission and bulk power services to retailer Total Energy, as part of the Farm & Food Processors Retail Pilot Pro-gram. ER98-1583.

RG&E has filed of its transmission agreements for use in its retail access pilot, which begins Feb 1, 1998 and runs through Jan 31, 2000. ER98-1605.

PSE&G has revised its sales agreement with ODEC to unbundle and eliminate an "imputed transmission component" from its capacity prices. ER98-1621.

NIPSCO is providing tranmission service to a number of towns which have contracted with Cinergy as their provider. ER98-1632, 1646, 16,47, 1652-1655.

NEP is offering installed capability, operating capability, 10 minute spinning and non-spin-ning reserve, 30 minute operating reserve and automatic generation control on an unbundled basis. ER98-1636.

NYSEG will purchase electricity from NGE Generation Inc., to which it will transfer its fossil generating units pending sale. ER98- 1798.

Bollinger Energy Corp has filed for marketer status. ER98-1821.


Southeast 

Polaris Electric Power Co has filed for marketer status. ER98-1421.

Xerxe Group, a gas marketer affiliated with TXG Buggy Whips Manufacturing Corp, a farm equipment and building supply producer, has filed for marketer status . ER98-1823.


Midwest 

The Midwest ISO has filed its open access ISO Agreement eliminating pancaked rates. ER98- 1438.

Delhi Energy Services has ceased operations as a power marketer. ER98-1439, 1441.

Equinox Energy, affiliate of Minneapolis-based Equinox Enterprises, a trader of agricultural products, has filed for marketer status. ER98-1486.

MidCon Power, a sub of Occidential Petroluem, has been acquired by KN Services. ER98-1527.

WPS Resources (Wisconsin Public Service) is merging with Upper Peninsula Energy Corp. ER98-1561.


Southwest

Energy Unlimited has filed for marketer status. ER98-1622.

AC Power Group has moved and changed its name to AC Power Corp. ER98-1626

Colt Electric has cease functioning as a power marketer. ER98-1694.

Great Western Power Cooperatives Co. has filed for marketer status. ER98-1722.

California Power Exchange has increased its PX Administration Charge. ER98-1729.

Competisys, a California professional utilities services firm, has filed for marketer status. ER98-1790.

Long Beach Generation, formed by Destec and NRG, has filed for market-based rates for the 530 MW facility it is buying from SoCalEd. ER98-1796.

Eastern Pacific Energy has filed for marketer status.


Northwest

Western Regional Transmission Association has changed its Agreement to allow any quali-fied individual to be a dispute resolution facilitator, has admitted the California ISO, and has lost Destec as a member (due to purchase by NGC). ER98-1417-1419.

Pacificorp and Vitol have entered a Mutual Netting/Closeout Agreement . ER98-1530.

Pacific Energy & Development Corp has filed for marketer status. ER98-1814.
