Northeast
 
Energy Sales Network, affiliate of MM Answering Services of Bradford, PA, has filed for marketer status. ER98-753.

Merchant Energy Group of the Americas, affiliate of Chigener, S.A., the Chilean power company, has filed for marketer status. ER98-1055.

Northeast Empire LP #2 is seeking to charge market-based rates for power from its Maine wood-fired facility. ER98-1125.

Tell City has extended its contract with SIGECO for eight years. ER98-1151.

NEP will provide "last resort service" to retail customers of Narragansett Electric. ER98-1233.

Amp-Ohio withdraw its protest of the FirstEnergy merger in return for a rate break. ER98-1258.


Southeast 

Southern Energy Retail Trading & Marketing (SERTM)has filed for marketer status. ER98-1149.

The Southwest Power Pool has filed a regional "one-stop shopping" open access tariff. ER98-1163.

CLECO Energy, a jv of Central Louisiana Electric and Covenant Energy has filed for marketer status. ER98-1170.

WKE Station Two, and Western Kentucky Energy Coop, both subs of LG&E Energy, have filed for marketer status. ER98-1278, ER98-1279.


Midwest

El Segundo Power, a 1020 MW must-run facility owned by Destec and NRG has asked to be permitted to sell power at market-based rates. ER98-1127.


Southwest

California Power Exchange has filed rates for a "PX Administration Charge." ER98-210.

The California Independent System Operator has filed a "Grid Management Charge." ER98-211.

WTU is giving rate decreases for contract extensions through 2004. ER98-609.

California Polar Power Brokers has filed for marketer status. ER98-701.

Houston Industries is seeking to sell power from plants purchased in Califoria. ER98-927-931.

Edison is selling plants to AES and assigning them "must run" status. ER98-984-986.

California "Scheduling Coordinator Agreements ER98-990, etc.and Participating Generator Agreements ER 98-992 etc., have been filed for marketers and generators who wish to participate in the California retail market.

California ISO has filed an Interconnected Control Area Operators Agreement governing relations with attached control areas. ER98- 98-1028.

Automated Power Exchange, a private competitor to the California PX, has filed for marketer status. ER98-1033.

Deseret Electric Coop is reducing rates to hold a customer. ER98-1043.

The California ISO has issued "Responsible Participating Transmission Owner Agreements" giving SoCal Ed and PG&E preference. ER98-1057, 58.

Micah Tech has filed for marketer status. ER98-1221.

Radial Lines Agreement provides terms under which Edison will continue to manage lines out of powerplants it sells. ER98-1224.

Transcurrent LLC, an affiliate of California Power Power Brokers has filed for marketer status.����� ER98-1297.


Northwest

TransCanada Power Marketing, affiliate of TransCanada Pipelines, has filed for marketer status. ER98-564.
