Northeast 

MAC Power Marketing (Marubeni Investment Co.) has filed for marketer status. ER98-575.

FirstEnergy Corp has been formed out of Ohio Edison and Centerior Energy Co. ER98-581.

An alliance of SIGECO, Hoosier Energy and Southern Indiana will serve a new industrial facility near Rockport, IN. ER98-601.

Boston Edison will require purchaser of its powerplants to sell power back under a transition agreement. ER98-616.

GPU will provide tranmikssion service under retail access pilot. ER98-630, 713.

Niagara Mohawk is providing retail wheeling for BOC Gases in Selkirk, NY. ER98-635.

PECO has set "installed capacity obligations" and other requirements for retailers competing in its pilot program. ER98-640-645, 779, 780, 784, 789, 839-846.

Zapco Power Marketing (Zahren Alternative Power), a landfill gas facility operator, has filed for marketer status. ER98-689.

Pennsylvania Power has increased energy imbalance deviation band to 2 MW from 1 MW. ER98-705.

Millenium Power Partners is planning a 360 MW gas fired merchant plant for Charlton, MA. ER98-830.

Niagara Mohawk is providing retail wheeling for the farm and food processor retail wheeling pilot. ER98-851.

PP&L will act as "Designated Agent" for transmission service under PJM tariff for UGI retail access program. ER98-866, 879-883, 885, 888-890.

Energy 2000 has ceased doing business as a power marketer. ER98-0887.


Southeast 

FP&L and FPC have entered 30 year agreement for transmission upgrades. ER98-732.

Tampa and Lakeland are terminating early an agreement otherwise set to expire in 2006. ER98-790.


Midwest

Northwest Power Marketing has ceased doing business as a power marketer. ER98-676.

Westar Electric Marketing has ceased doing business as a power marketer. ER98-680.


Southwest

Aurora Power Resources, of Anchorage, has filed for marketer status. ER98-573.

North Star Power Marketing, a gas company, has filed for marketer status. ER98-622.

Enserch Energy Services, a gas marketer owned by Texas Utilities, has filed for marketer status. ER98-895.


Northwest

Pacificorp has assessed a loop flow charge of $3.6 million for 1997. ER98-565.


Transmission Cases

Public Service Colorado has filed a complaint seeking north-to-south tranmission service from Wyoming through Basin Electric Coop, Tristate G&T Assoc, Rocky Mountain Generation Coop and the Western Area Power Administration. TX98-002.
