Northeast 

The PJM member companies (other than PECO), and PECO (with a number of others) have filed competing plans for restructuring the PJM Interconnection. ER97-3189 and ER97-3273, respectively.

MG Electric Power has ceased operations as a power marketer. ER97-3592.

Electrical Associates Power Marketing, a marketer of electrical construction material, has filed for marketer status. ER97-4173.

Agway Energy Services, a sub of the agricultural products distributor, has filed for marketer status. ER97-4186.

Williams is buying firm energy from RG&E for $15/mWh. ER97-4231.

Six members of NYPP have filed for market-based rate authority, effective on approval of the New York ISO. ER97-4234.

Granger Energy, affiliate of landfill gas facilities in Michigan, has filed for marketer status. ER97-4240.

Orange & Rockland affiliate Norstar Energy has withdrawn from power marketing. ER97-4332.

Florida Power Corp. is amending its transmission tariff to make it useful. ER97-3057.

North Carolina Municipal Power Agency will buy from CP&L through 2003 at a reduced rate rather than build a new facility. ER97-3250.

Infinite Energy has filed for marketer status. ER97-3923.

Southern Company Energy Marketing (a partnership of Southern Company and Vastar) has filed for marketer status. ER97-4166.

TECO has agreed to sell to The Energy Authority, a corporation owned by Jacksonville, MEAG, and South Carolina Pub Serv. Authority. ER97-4195.

Total Energy has filed for marketer status. ER97-4202.


Midwest 

Util Power Marketing has filed for marketer status. ER97-3306.

Union Electric Development Corp. (A sub. of Union Electric) has filed for marketer status. ER97-3663.

Unicom Power Marketing, affiliate of Commonwealth Edison, has filed for marketer status. ER97-3954.

J.D. Loock & Assoc. has ceased functioning as a marketer. ER97-4038.

Griffin Energy Marketing, an affiliate of Wisconsin Electric, has filed for marketer status. ER97-4168.

Enron sub. Iowa Power Partners has an agreement to sell 75 MW of windpower to IES. ER97-4222.

Mid-Power Service Corp. has filed for marketer status. ER97-4257.

Cargill-IEC, a jv of Cargill and Heartland Energy Services, has filed for marketer status. ER97-4273.

Denver City Energy Assoc. has won a competitive bid to provide power to Golden Spread from its share of the Mustag Station gas-fired facility being constructed near Denver City, TX. ER97-4084.

Turner Energy has filed for marketer status. ER97-4108.

Inventory Management & Distribution Co. has filed for marketer status. It is 21% owned by Con Ed sub. ProMark Energy. ER97-4116.

Commonwealth Energy Corp. has filed for marketer status. ER97-4253.


Northwest  

Powerex has refiled for marketer status, after parent BC Hydro has redraft its transmission tariff to conform with Order 888. ER97-4024.
