Summary Highlights of Recent Transmission and Bulk Power Agreements




Northeast



AEP has filed for marketer status for its sub, AEP Power Marketing. ER96-2495.

Dayton Power & Light has filed for marketer status for its affiliate, DPL Energy.  ER96-2601.

New Jersey Natural Energy Co., an affiliate of New Jersey Natural Gas, has filed for marketer status.  ER96-2627.

Tosco Power, Inc., a sub of Tosco Corporation, the independent oil refiner, has filed for marketer status. ER96-2635.

CHI Power Marketing, a sub. of Consolidated Hydro, Inc., has filed for marketer  status. ER96-2640.

Citizens Lehman has filed for marketer status for five new subs., CL Power Sales Six through Ten, L.C.C.  ER96-2652.

AYP Energy, a sub of Allegheny Power System, has filed for marketer status.  ER96-2673.

UGI Power Supply, an affiliate of UGI Utilities, has filed for marketer status.  ER96-2715.

Unitil has contracted on behalf of its retail customers, for network transmission service from Northeast Utilities.  ER96-2666.

PSNH has contracted on behalf of its retail customers, for network transmission service from Northeast Utilities.  ER96-2702.

The New England Power Pool has accepted a number of power marketers as members.  ER956-2727, 2786, 2788, 2798.

Ohio Power is providing service to certain retail customers of Ohio Edison.  ER96-2736.



Southeast



Alcoa-sub. Yadkin has filed to sell up to 209 MW from its hydro facilities at market-based rates.  ER96-2603.

Cumberland Power has filed for marketer status.  ER96-2624.

City of Summersville will build new hydro unit and sell power to APCO for 1.96� escalating to 4.6� in years 15-20 of agreement.  ER96-2642.

Enron has refused to sign Virginia Power transmission agreement which requires purchase of ancillary services.  ER96-2690.

Entergy Services is seeking to sell to unaffiliated entities at market-based rates.  ER96-2709.

SCE&G Co. has added creditworthiness to its tariff requirements. ER96-2768.

Washington Gas Energy Services, a sub of Washington Gas Light Co. has filed for marketer status.  ER96-2830.



Midwest



ComEd is providing curtailable service option to customers of City of St. Charles through buy/sell agreement.  ER96-2599.

Illinois Power has signed retail wheeling tariffs with several customers and marketers.  ER96-2609, 2692, 2781, 2840.



Southwest



TPC Corporation (formerly Tejas Power Corp) is seeking marketer status. ER96-2658.

Coldwater Creek Goethermal has shut down and cancelled contracts due to depleted steam reserves.  ER96-2847.



Northwest



WWP and Enron have entered into an energy exchange agreement fixing price difference between NW Montana and Mid-Columbia at $1.30/kW/Mo.through March 31, 2001.  ER96-2606.

WWP will pay Bonneville an exit fee of $6.9 million for taking over Clark County as customer through 2001.  ER96-2607.

Pacificorp is providing power marketing services to Deseret G&T.  ER96-2735.

The Northwest Power Pool Agreement has been filed.   ER96-2789.
