Northeast 


New England Power is wheeling through Littleton to retail customer Montgomery Wire Corp. ER96-1441. 

The New England Power Pool has accepted a raft of power marketers as members. ER96-1649, etc. 

Obrien Energy�s 117 MW Parline facility has been acquired by NRG. ER96-1679, 1680. 

Niagara Mohawk will be selling power to its marketing affiliate Plum Street Enterprise, for resale at retail in New Hampshire pilot program. ER96-1687. 

Engineered Energy Systems has filed for marketer status. ER96-1731. 

PSNH has filed for a distribution tariff for retail customer pilot program. ER96-1738. 

Powerline Controls has filed for marketer status. ER96-1754. 

CPS Capital, Ltd. has filed for marketer status. ER96-1798. 

Con Ed has increased its retail wheeling rate from $1.18 to $1.20 per kW. ER96-1859, 1860. 

PSNH has filed for a transmission tariff for retail customer pilot program. ER96-1868. 

Orange & Rockland has amended its wholesale power sales agreements with its subsidiaries to require stranded investment payments. ER96-1886, 1887. 

PSNH will sell power to its retail affiliate, PSNH Energy for use in retail wheeling pilot. ER96-1902. 

CL&P is purchasing capacity from Connecticut business with on-site generation in preparation for a summer without three nuclear plants. ER96-1915. 

LS Power Marketing has filed for marketer status. LS is affiliated with a cogeneration development firm. ER96-1947. 

Indeck Pepperell has entered an agreement to sell 38 MW at market rates to Clearinghouse. ER96-1967. 

Conti Metals has filed for marketer status. ER96-2083. 

NEPCO and NU have agreed to lift restrictions on retail wheeling to effectuate MECO�s retail wheeling pilot program. ER96-2160. 

Unitil will sell power to Strategic Energy Ltd. for use in the New Hampshire Retail Pilot program. ER96-2162. 



Southeast 



Agreements allocating access to the tie lines into Florida, one of the most congested lines in the country, have been filed. ER96-1671-1673. 

FPC is providing up to 150 MW to Seminole through as late as 2013 (subject to 3 year termination notice) ER96-1712. 

Growth Unlimited Investments has filed for marketer status. ER96-1774. 

Entergy�s affiliates have taken on the Entergy name. ER96-1827-1831. 

Mid-American Power is seeking to charge market-based rates from a refired 53 MW coal unit it is acquiring from Dairyland. ER96-1858. 

Monterey Consulting Associates has filed to be a power marketer. ER96-2143. 



Midwest

 

Calpine has purchased 20 MW on-peak firm from Black Hills for the summers of 96 and 97 at $13.50 MWH. ER96-1704. 

GDK Corp. has filed for marketer status. ER96-1735. 

Midwest Energy is seeking authority to sell at market-based rates. Midwest is a nonprofit coop serving 34,000 retail customers. ER96-2027. 



Southwest

 

SocalEd, SDG&E and PG&E have filed to create a California ISO. ER96-1663. 

HL&P is providing transmission service over the East HVDC Interconnect at $95.65/MW/Mi. ER96-1730, 1762. 

EnergyTek has filed for marketer status. ER96-1781. 

ICC Energy has filed for marketer status. ER96-1819. 

Ensource has filed for marketer Status. ER96-1919. 

Power Fuels Inc. has filed for marketer status. It is a sub of Union Pacific Fuels. ER96-1930. 

Gelber Group, Inc. has filed for marketer status. It is a gas and energy management consulting firm.  ER96-1933. 

Preferred Energy Services has filed for marketer status. ER96-2141. 



Northwest

 

SDS Petroleum Products has filed for marketer status. ER96-1724. 

Alliance Power Marketing, affiliate of Cyprus Amax Coal, has filed for marketer status. ER96-1818. 

Inland Pacific Energy Services, a gas marketer, is seeking power marketer status. ER96-2144.
