<p><b>When you want to "risk-proof" your next new
product investment.</b></p>
<p>This enterprising company aspired to develop a breakthrough
education offering combining instructor-led training, media-based
instruction, distance learning and performance support.</p>
<p>However, with limited relevant experience to rely upon, they
sought additional assurance prior to undertaking a full-blown
development effort and market launch.</p>
<p><span class="cred">FUSION </span>developed a "paper
prototype" of the proposed offering, including a purchase
rationale and detailed descriptions of each of the intended
service features. Next, we designed a focus group approach
that let prospects not only evaluate each proposed feature
but come up with ideas for improvement. Then we measured overall
purchase intent.</p>
<p>As an added safety measure, we came up with a way for our
client to emulate the new offering by modifying existing services
and resources. This provided the option of a live market test
to validate the focus group findings.</p>
