    <h1>Project Spotlight: Washington National Cathedral</h1>
    <p> <strong>E.C. Ernst </strong>has been on-site at the Cathedral since the original electrical construction continuing from the early 1900’s through the completion of the West Towers in 1990. </p>
    <p><strong>E.C. Ernst</strong> was also responsible for the design and build of a new 15 KV distribution system that converted the campus from the existing 5 KV system.  We developed and led a team that included an electrical engineering firm, general contractor for the substation foundation, and an excavation contractor for duct banks and road reconstruction.  The Cathedral, its schools and supporting buildings remained open and in service during the project.</p>
    <p>Other recent projects performed by <strong>E.C. Ernst</strong> include:</p>
      <ul>
      <li>Design and install exterior lighting system</li>
      <li>Perform switchboard replacements</li>
      <li>Perform numerous panel replacements</li>
      <li>Upgrade lighting systems and controls</li>
      <li>Install energy management and metering controls</li>
      <li>Install communications cabling and TVSS for the electrical distribution</li>
