Zoota is not very comfortable with this arrangement, especially when sparks fly from the tips of the antennae, causing her to sneeze. (The lizard wails whenever Zoota tries to extricate herself from the animal, so she ultimately accepts the situation). The lizard's sparks come in handy for waking up Nerve Mama when she dozes off.</font></font> </p>

With a nod to the dynamic theatre director, Jerzy Grotowski, and the wild, emotional grit of James Brown, Patti Smith and Nirvana, it is the intention of the author to encourage an inspired and physically engaged performance from the actors. Digital 3D animations of The Nervepool's set and its more complex creatures would be added in post-production, but are no substitute for an emotionally rich performance from the actors as they interact on the set.
