<p class="text">A university bookstore means different things to different people. A college freshman uses the bookstore for books, supplies, and possibly a few items for decorating a dorm room. An alum enters the bookstore to shop for a tee shirt or trinket bearing the school logo. In both cases, the campus bookstore, regardless of size, is a retail business, and can be institutionally owned or the entire operation can be outsourced.
