<h1 class="home">Welcome to Aldermen at Work from Alderman Lisle Baker</h1>
<p class="home">Welcome to Aldermen at Work - a series of half hour televised interviews that I conducted with my colleagues on the Newton Board of Aldermen, other Newton officials, or Newton citizens. These programs were originally cablecast during 2009 and 2010 on the (Red) Government Channel of Newton Community Television, or NewTV. I want to thank NewTV for helping make them more widely available here.</p>
<p class="home">You will see over twenty-five current programs listed by general category, as well as prior programs in the archives, so click on any you would like to see. You will be directed to a web page for that specific episode. This That page will also list those Newton officials or citizens appearing in that episode, as well as links to public information related to the topic under discussion. Also, within each episode is an explanation of aldermanic procedures called "Rules of the Board." These short explanations are also collected on a separate page like the episode of which they are a part under "How the Board Works."</p>
