Responsible for assisting senior statisticians in providing the statistical management and analysis of data for a research project with the Division of Nephrology. This position will be the Biostatistics Research Center (BRC), which provides statistical consulting services to the New England Medical Center research community. M.S. in statistics or biostatistics, or related field, required. Two to three year's experience, preferably in a medical research environment is desired. Contact: Deborah

<B>Statistical Programmer</B>. Responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of code and programs for the exploration and analysis of data. This person will work in conjunction with the senior statisticians in the Biostatistics Research Center in the evaluation and development of new statistical methodologies. Experience in using SAS required. Knowledge of other statistical programming languages, including STATA or SPLUS, is desirable. Contact: Deborah Crane at (617) 636-1475.

<B>Research Assistant</B>. Energetic, highly organized, detail-oriented person sought to provide administrative/secretarial support and research assistance to the Biostatistics Research Center (BRC). The position involves working with the Center's administrators in assisting with coordination of ongoing research and education programs. Responsibilities include typing, copying, mailing and faxing of correspondence, preparation of grant proposals and
research reports, scheduling of meetings and conference calls, data entry and database management, making travel arrangements, literature searches, maintaining a reference database, etc. Contact: Deborah Crane at (617) 636-1475.
