completed an <a href="assessment.htm">assessment</a> of the object and prepared
proposal(s), we discuss the proposals with you, and ask you to select one of
the treatment options.</p>

addresses physical stabilization and may include tear repair, hinging, minor
repair, appropriate mounting for exhibition, etc. </p>

stabilization (in addition to physical stabilization) such as mold control,

chemical stabilization and include a special option--such as improvement of the
aesthetics of the object for exhibition, or perhaps addressing a special
problem, etc. </p>

conservation treatment you wish to have carried out. This gives you flexibility
to meet the needs of your collection and to work within your budget. Cleveland
Conservation requires formal approval of the conservation treatment in writing
before any <a href="treatment.htm">treatment</a> is carried out.</p>
