<p class="introtext">Molecular medicine is an emerging field of healthcare that has the power to improve the lives of patients with life-threatening diseases. Through the development of radiopharmaceuticals that target molecular markers of disease, the opportunity to probe the phenotypic identity and the ability to diagnose, characterize and treat disease are realized, thereby facilitating personalized medicine.</p>
<p>Molecular medicine targets disease at the molecular level to advance patient care through timely and accurate detection, improved treatment and effective monitoring of therapeutic response and disease progression.</p>
<p>Advances in understanding the biochemical and molecular basis of disease at the cellular level are accelerating the discovery and development of new molecular medicines that target specific cells, proteins, sub-cellular structures and/or biological pathways.</p>
<p>Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals is focusing on using its proprietary small-molecule platform to improve detection of primary and metastatic prostate cancer and to provide a novel systemic radiotherapy for relapsed and metastatic prostate cancer.</p>
<p><strong>Molecular Imaging Radiopharmaceuticals</strong> are radioactive drugs that target biochemical or biological processes that enable the visualization of disease.</p>
<p><strong>Therapeutic Radiopharmaceuticals</strong> are radioactive drugs that selectively target cancer cells to deliver radiation for therapeutic benefit. </p>
